Free Young CPA Infocast Today |
Young CPA Infocast: Generation X & Y in the Profession Today
Join award-winning author and blogger Tammy Erickson on Tuesday, April 27th from 2:00-3:30pm ET for the Young CPA Infocast: Generation X and Y in the Profession Today.
For more info, visit: http://www.aicpa.org/YoungCPANetwork/infocast.htm
As Boomers ease toward retirement years, two new generations will increasingly shape our firms and organizations. Generation X is moving into leadership roles and Generation Y is in demand to fill the professional ranks. Each generation brings a unique set of experiences and assumptions to the job - different from Boomers' and from many existing firm norms.
It's easy to misinterpret "the other guy" - or fall into easy stereotypes for thinking about the other generations' actions. But it's increasingly important to create a culture that is welcoming and engaging for talented individuals of all ages.
